How Animator began
Our story
Animator started with a frustration we kept running into: even a simple whiteboard video could require several applications, repeated exports and far too much setup before the real creative work began.
We wanted a workspace we could open in the browser and start using immediately. A place where the script, drawings, characters, voice, recordings and timing could stay together instead of being rebuilt every time the project moved to another tool.
Animator is still growing. We are continuing to improve the editor, add new characters and templates, and make the path from an idea to a finished animation feel simpler without taking away creative control.
The problem
Whiteboard animation creation was spread across too many tools.
The first workspace
We began bringing scenes, drawing, voice and timeline editing into the browser.
Building the workflow
Characters, recording, animation tools and editable scene controls became part of the same workspace.
